| Drax Golf Club is a private Golf Club, with a 9-hole course, soon to be 13-hole. The course currently has 1 par 5, 6 par 4's, and 2 par 3's; there are 11 tees to give some variety. We are planning a further 4 holes, 3 of which are being paid for by Sport England - see Development to 13 holes and News. |
|
The land on which
the course is located was originally used by the Power Station during
its construction. After extensive landscaping, including the planting
of a large variety and number of trees, the course was officially
opened in 1990. |
